Author: Why is it a “near miss”? If it is a “near miss”, does that not mean that they hit something? Should it not be a “near hit”?

I do online marketing. I may talk about some companies on this blog that I get paid to promote. Sometimes it is that I am just excited about a company.
Just an FYI
It was odd that I was wondering today if we would see Obama eating at fast food places as we did Bill Clinton. Then an hour later, I hear that Bill Clinton is in the hospital because of heart issues.
Guess it is time to eat better!
The Olympics are coming up very soon.
I do not know when it happened. I have no desire to watch them this year. Hopefully I will change my mind and catch a little during some relaxation time.
I have complete respect for these athletes and how important The Olympics is for them. It will also be a positive thing for the economy of multiple countries. But no desire to watch. Does anyone else feel this way?
