I do online marketing. I may talk about some companies on this blog that I get paid to promote. Sometimes it is that I am just excited about a company.
Just an FYI
I am on a crusade to get more followers for http://twitter.com/ShopSpencers on twitter.
This is for THE Spencer’s twitter account. Please follow if you like Spencer’s and help spread the word if you can. Thanks so much!
I have been on social networks for years. I can only imagine the costs involved of providing support to members of Facebook and Myspace . However, There were a few times within the past months where it was very important to contact them.
If nothing else, they should offer a premium service of getting ahold of them. If they wish marketers to use their site, they really should let us contact them in a timely manner when something goes very wrong.
I am a fan of both sites, I just hope that they improve on this.
Arghhh! Facebook Fan Pages currently are mostly blank! Not all of them, but some of them. Coke – Pepsi – Spirit Halloween – Walmart – most of them!
This is one of those times when it does matter that they do not have an easy way to contact them.
What is going on? Hopefully this does not last long.
I am posting all over the place these days.
You can follow me on twitter at:
It is great news that Ask.com just announced that they will be supporting the Canonical URL Tag.
This will help insure that this will become a standard for search engine optimization.
This is great!
I am pretty excited about the new canonical tag that Google and others have now started supporting.
This new tag should help with duplicate content and other issues.
This should be good.
I came across the funniest listing for a job opening for an SEO guy.
Before you start, you must provide everything in full detail of what you are going to do. Within 2 weeks, you must be in the top 10 or better for all 10 keywords on the top 5 search engines.
As this person, They must worry about what IP ranges the sites that link back have.
Many criteria. Some looks standard, some looks like someone had read a little about old myths about SEO.
I am curious if someone will actually take this job. Whithin 2 weeks you must be in the top 10 for 10 kewords in Google, Yahoo, Ask, Live…etc. That listing was funny stuff.
