I think that the phrase “Knowledge is power” is incorrect.

Knowledge is just knowledge. Applied knowledge is power.

Near Miss

It was odd that I was wondering today if we would see Obama eating at fast food places as we did Bill Clinton. Then an hour later, I hear that Bill Clinton is in the hospital because of heart issues.

Guess it is time to eat better!

Olympics

The Olympics are coming up very soon.

I do not know when it happened. I have no desire to watch them this year. Hopefully I will change my mind and catch a little during some relaxation time.

I have complete respect for these athletes and how important The Olympics is for them. It will also be a positive thing for the economy of multiple countries. But no desire to watch. Does anyone else feel this way?

Sushi Meet & Tweet

My friend Joe is working on putting together a sushi “Meet & Tweet”. He is working with Meetup groups in different cities for over a month to setup a great event for everyone.

Windows 7

I have been exploring Windows 7 recently.

I have to say YEAH! It has a lot of improvements that I really like.

The one thing that was hard to find at first is the show desktop function.

Instead of being an icon on the taskbar, it is a vertical bar to the far right of the task bar. It is actually better once you get used to it.

There will be critics as usual. But I notice most complaints were “change” related. Most people do not like change.

Boot up is much faster!
