I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful New Year.    2009 was horrible for many.     2010….here we come.  Let’s make it a good year.

As Christmas has come and gone, that OMG feeling of the new year is starting to set in.

2009 will be remembered.  It was a very bad year for many.  It was an odd year for me personally.  However I know that I am blessed.

I hope that 2010 is better than 2009 for all!

Merry Christmas everyone!   Happy Holidays for those who may not celebrate Christmas.

It is interesting to me how many people rely on the opinions of those in the media who have an agenda.

I will not post my full feelings and beliefs on the health care problems in the USA right now.   Once I start…I probably cannot stop.

I will say that those who think that the health care system does not need to be addressed at all are ignorant to the real world.   People that I have known has died because of the problems.   There are a lot of people that have to choose whether to pay bills, eat, or purchase their prescriptions.  Pre-existing conditions (even little ones) cause insurance companies to refuse to insure some that have just minor issues.

The health care system needs to improve.

Lady Gaga has sure gotten the attention of many people around the world.   As a marketing person, I am impressed of the branding that she has created for herself.   I am sure others are also responsible, but like her or not…she is everywhere.  And she makes you scratch your head.

Kudos to her and her peeps.

I guess that I am one of the few that am tired about hearing about Tiger Woods in the news.

There is some crazy other news that seems to be much more important.

If he cheated, then cheaters get what they deserve.  If he did not, then he is getting screwed.

It just hit me that Thanksgiving is this week.

The holiday week creeped up pretty quick.   I have been looking through the Christmas costumes section over at Spirit Halloween thinking that there were still a little more time before yummy Turkey Day (yum).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone (early).   Be safe.  Do not eat too much.

btw… It is a myth that eating turkey makes you sleepy because of tryptophan in it.   You can get sleepy by ingesting tryptophan but have to eat A LOT to get the affect.  If you eat too much, you will get sleepy.  No matter what you eat.

I listen to news while working.   Today I heard a lot about Sarah Palin on Oprah.

It will be very interesting to see how things play out.  It sure looks like Sarah Palin has the intention of running for President some day.   Things that make you say hmmmm.   I am not sure what my opinion of that is.
